Think of a beautiful garden setting, flickering candlelight and the melodious sound of hymns and you’ll have an inkling of how fabulously festive Carols by Candlelight at Kirstenbosch will be this year.

This enormously popular event is the flagship project of The Rotary Club of Kirstenbosch, featuring the Cape Town Concert Brass and the Cape Town Male Voice Choir, and it's sponsored by Pick n Pay. It’s a fun way to get in the mood for Christmas – and it also raises funds for charities in and around Cape Town.

The concert starts at 20h00, while gates open at 17h00. On 15 December, the entrance fee is R50 for adults, R30 for children (6 – 18 yrs) and R5 for children (2 – 5 yrs). From 16 – 18 December, the fee is R60 for adults, R40 for children (6 – 18 yrs) and R10 for children (2 – 5 yrs).
